SPORT
Underpinning one of the most extensive sporting programs in Victoria is Lakes Entrance Secondary College's equally comprehensive sporting infrastructure. The college provides a full scale enclosed gymnasium with basketball, netball, volleyball, badminton and gymnastic facilities, as well as a dedicated workout and weights room. Along with two outside basketball/netball courts there is also a full size football oval, a soccer pitch, cricket nets and a sports and athletics training ground - everything a keen student would need to compete at a state level, and beyond!
CLASSROOM TECH
Lakes Entrance Secondary College invests heavily in the latest state-of-the-art classroom technology - such as the Promethean Interactive Touchboards seen here - providing our students with a fully integrated digital classroom environment.
Being a smaller college doesn't mean fewer facilities at Lakes Entrance - it simply means greater access for students. State of the art classroom technology, fully equipped library, laptop program, full sized football oval, indoor and outdoor courts, a gym, cricket nets, landscaped gardens, the list goes on . . .
LAPTOP PROGRAM
The Lakes Entrance Secondary College Laptop Program provides a dedicated portal for the purchase of devices via our preferred supplier Edunet, to ensure equitable access to high quality laptops for every student. Edunet laptops come with all the necessary software, applications, capabilities and protections that modern online learning demands, and represent excellent value for money. LIBRARY
The College Library caters for all students and teachers. It is open before and after school and during lunchtimes. There is a wide range of books and reference material, with new books being added regularly. Class sets and teacher references are housed separately.
We have a Video Conferencing room which is used by small groups and individuals. There are also desktop computers available for student use. The library is available for class bookings, and we have a quiet area set aside for private study.
GROUNDS
Lakes Entrance Secondary College nestles within a generous 10 acres of landscaped and manicured grounds, with spacious paved and lawn areas set amongst stands of mature trees. There are busy meeting places and quiet, reflective spaces; sheltered areas and open vistas.
